ZERT Coffee & ChaosHello everyone and welcome back to This Week in Guns, brought to you by Patriot Patch Company and Primary Arms. This show offers commentary on the latest firearms industry news, information and buzz. I’m your host Matthew Larosiere and I’m here with my co-host Shawn Herrin, and joined by special guest Rob Pincus.
The Pincus Stinkus
Has he redeemed himself? We’ve got Rob on to discuss the whole fuffle.
An internal ATF document got leaked on The Reload, and it’s a bit of a mess. It targets 80%s, and totally makes a dog’s breakfast of the term “frame or receiver.”
The jury found the 45-year old Chauvin guilty on all counts, which is causing a bit of confusion.
Nevada AB286 would require 80% firearms be serialized and subject to background checks. Of course, the term “loophole” is tossed with impunity.
The Texas House passed a permitless carry bill, but the Republican Lt. Governor and presiding officer of the state Senate thinks the Senate lacks the votes to get it through. He plans to meet with law enforcement, who oppose permitless carry.
A New York man had police storm his home. The issue, though, is that the state fibbed a bit on the warrant application.
North Carolina is one of many states with a Jim Crow-era pistol permit system, requiring local sheriffs to sign off on handgun purchases. A new proposal would finally scrap this mess.
