Panelists:
Jim Savage – Bio
Savage1r is the thumb-like cast member from the Welikeshooting Show who is obsessed with Caniks, gun rights, photography/videography, and world war II online. He also has a much shorter bio than Baraka.
Billy Johnson – Bio
Billy Johnson is a filmmaker, entrepreneur, staunch defender of individual rights, and former NRA News Commentator. He recently launched a new podcast called, Amidst the Noise which is available on all platforms.
Josh Cast – C-List youtuber, writer, director, photographer, videographer and inventor. Sarcasm is free
Baraka Ulrich James – is an American human rights activist with his main focus on the Second Amendment.
Baraka is the owner, producer and host of ”’Civilian Carry Radio (CCR)”’ on the Firearms Radio Network. A nonpartisan podcast, because Gun rights and the right to self-protection are God-given Human rights. Our goal and the focus of this podcast is to spread our message to everyday people; the importance of the 2nd amendment, firearms safety, education, training and mindset. Remember, you and only you are responsible for the safety and protection of yourself and your loved ones.
Our mission statement: Gun ownership is YOUR RIGHT, Safety and Education are YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
We air LIVE every Wednesday evening at 8pm EST, he is joined by his 2 co-costs Allen Sams and Tatiana Whitlock and at least 1 guest co-host who are almost always big names in the firearm industry, self-defense, tactical, Law Enforcement and gun community.
Baraka began his work with a non-profit which he founded under the name MASF – Modern American Shooting & Firearms. The charity was closed on November 11, 2017 and MASF transferred all cash and other assets to another firearms charity called the Firearms Training Alliance (FTA) which is ran by Rob Tackett of TacStrike Steel, Critical Carry Firearms and formerly of Practical Firearms Training.
Baraka was born in Washington, DC where he lost his father to gun violence at only 38 days old. His father was a DC Special Police Officer and was shot and killed off duty in a friend’s home during a home evasion he happened upon. With this knowledge embedded in his mind he looked for a tool to be the equalizing factor. He found that no matter an individual’s size, sex, race or creed that said individual could increase their chances for survival during a crime or assault with the proper firearms training, education and proper, security mindset.
He truly believes that each person must take responsibility for their own safety, therefore he speaks on invoking each person’s God given right to protect themselves for bodily harm by taking the proper classes with vetted instructors to understand all aspects of personal safety whether they choose to carry a gun, knife or train in martial arts.
